iPhone POP3 Client Setup for MDaemon Mail Server

iphoneBelow please find instructions on how to setup a POP3 web mail email account on your iPhone.

  1. Select Settings / Mail, Contacts, Calendars / Add Account.
  2. Click Other, located at the bottom of the list.
  3. Click Add Mail Account.
  4. Select other unless you are trying to pop from one of the providers listed. (you will need to obtain the POP server information from them).
  5. Enter the following information in the spaces provided:
    • Name — Enter your full first and last name, as you want it to be displayed in the emails you send.
    • Address — Enter your full email address (e.g., myname@ mydomain.com).
    • Password — Enter the password for your email account on this server.
    • Description — Enter a descriptive name for your account (e.g., My Work Account). This description will be visible only to you.
  6. Click the Save button.
  7. Select POP at the top.
  8. On the next screen, in both the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections, enter the following information:
    • Host Name — Enter the name of the secure email (server: secure.emailsrvr.com).
    • User Name — Enter your full email address (e.g., This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
    • Password — Enter the password associated with your email account.
  9. Click the Save button.
    NOTE: You may be prompted with a message about an SSL certificate. Click yes on this screen and then continue on the next screen.
  10. Click SAVE and wait for the iPhone to test your incoming and outgoing mail settings and connect to your mailbox.
  11. After completing these steps, you should be able to send and receive email successfully.

iPhone IMAP Client Setup for MDaemon Mail Server

Below please find instructions on how to setup a IMAP web mail email account on your iPhone.

  1. Select Settings / Mail, Contacts, Calendars / Add Account.
  2. Click Other, located at the bottom of the list.
  3. Click Add Mail Account.
  4. Enter the following information in the spaces provided:
    • Name — Enter your full first and last name, as you want it to be displayed in the emails you send.
    • Address — Enter your full email address (e.g., myname@ mydomain.com).
    • Password — Enter the password for your email account on this server.
    • Description — Enter a descriptive name for your account (e.g., My Work Account). This description will be visible only to you.
  5. Click the Save button.
  6. Select IMAP at the top.
  7. On the next screen, in both the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections, enter the following information:

  8. Click the Save button.

  9. You will be returned to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen. Click the name of the account you just created.
  10. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and click the Advanced button.
  11. In the Mailbox Behaviors section, you can 'map' your iPhone email mailboxes to the associated folders stored on the email server. For each of the following mailboxes, click the arrow next to the folder name. A new window will appear, where you can select the associated 'On the Server' folder:
    • Drafts Mailbox — Select 'Drafts'
    • Sent Mailbox — Select 'Sent'
    • Deleted Mailbox — Select 'Trash'
  12. After completing these steps, you should be able to send and receive email successfully.

Accessing your WorldClient from your iPhone

Below please find instructions on how to use your WorlClient web mail account on your iPhone.

  1. Select your Safari browser from you iPhone menu.
  2. In the address bar input the address to access your WorldClient. Please contact your mail administrator for the address.
    Example: http://mail.mydomain.com:3000 or http://mail.mydomain.com:3000/WorldClient.dll.
  3. Provide your Username and Password to access your email folders.

To save a shortcut icon to your home screen:

  1. Click the + button at the bottom of the Safari Window.
  2. Click the "Add to Home Screen" button
