Utilizing the intelligent ACR engine from Icognito, PureSight for WinGate uses cutting edge content recognition technology to determine the contents of a requested page. It works by determining what level of prohibited content the page contains and will allow or block the request depending on what level has been set by the administrator.
PureSight for WinGate includes both "Allow" and "Ban" configurations so that parents and administrators can tailor their content filtering requirements based upon allowed or prohibited words that could appear on Web pages and in actual URLs.
PureSight for WinGate allows content filtering to be implemented on a per user or group basis. With complete and automatic integration with the WinGate user database structure, it is easy to manage an implement depending on you administrative needs.
Currently there are two categories (sex and gambling) that PureSight for WinGate will filter content for. When a user requests a page containing a level of unacceptable content, according to each category, the page will be blocked from users. More catagories are scheduled for future releases of PureSight for WinGate.
PureSight for WinGate is a simple "set it and forget it" configuration, which can be installed and be filtering web content in a matter of minutes. PureSight for WinGate uses a simple "slider" adjustment for setting the desired level of content filtering and can be fine tuned depending on requirements.
